Introducing our new Vibro Sonic Massage System, now available in our walk-in tubs. We are the first in our industry in Canada to offer this incredible feature. The system pulsates, vibrates, and sequences, providing a personalized massage experience tailored to your body and muscle density. Whether you prefer a soft and gentle massage to relax or a more vigorous one to deeply penetrate your muscles for pain relief, the choice is yours. It's just like sitting in a massage chair and can be used with or without water.

Now, why would you not want this feature in your tub? Additionally, other features such as whirlpool jets can be installed in the same tub. This means you'll never want to get out of your tub! The system offers different speeds and sequence modes, making it great for muscle relaxation, stress relief, and pain relief. You have the option of having 2, 4, 6, or 8 vibro massagers installed in your tub, customized to your preferred locations.

Additionally, this works great with the foot massage-only feature. Enjoy the soothing effects of your back massage while the hydro jets massage your feet.

Hydro massage system

Tub2-25_edited.jpg

At Walk in Tubs Ottawa, we want you to enjoy the best therapeutic massage possible, which is why we offer more jets than our competitors.

The Hydro Massage System includes: a hydro pump with an in-line water heater, an eco-friendly ozone sterilization system, a hydro massage intensity control dial, and a strategically positioned hydro jet system for targeted and effective massaging.

The in-line water heater is designed to maintain the water temperature at a constant level while bathing for maximum comfort. The ozone sterilization system is the most eco-friendly, chemical free disinfectant that can eliminate a wide variety of inorganic, organic, and microbiological bacteria. This sterilization system is especially helpful in eliminating odors and hygienic maintenance.

Lastly, the hydro massage intensity control dial allows you to adjust the strength of the water stream by adding more or less air into the hydro system.

Air massage system

Tub2-6_edited.jpg

The air massage system includes a heated blower with a 2-speed variable push control, strategically positioned air jets for optimal therapeutic relief, and auto-purge to maintain an air system free of any build ups.

Our Air Jet System includes an Auto Purge System. It automatically activates only after completing your bath, when the tub is empty, each time and every time, regardless of whether you used the air jet system or not. Our system is one of the only ones in the industry that purges only when the tub is empty, as opposed to being on a timer. This is the only way to properly purge your system. This is done in order to blow out any excess water and bacteria from the air jet lines. Auto-purge will run for 120 seconds to ensure your system is clear and free of moisture and excess water helping to prevent mildew build up.

Rainfall shower kit

Our Rainfall shower kit is securely mounted to the wall, offering flexibility in installation. It can be placed according to your preference. Typically, we install it in the center of the tub, allowing it to swivel. This way, you can position it over the standing area of the bathtub for a standing shower experience, or swing it over the seat area as desired. Additionally, it comes with an adjustable hand-held shower head, allowing for customizable height settings.

Foot massage only feature

Simply fill up the tub to below the seat and voila, you have foot massager.

The science of Reflexology teaches us that your entire body is represented by and connected to your feet. Caring for and nurturing that part of your body can bring health and well-being to all of your limbs and organs. Soaking your feet in hot water for 15 to 20 minutes per day can do wonders for your mood, your energy level, your sleeping habits and alleviate any aches and pains that you may have. Take care of your whole body by taking good care of your feet!

Hydro foot massages have the power to alleviate pain in other parts of the body besides just the feet. Some of the conditions a hydro footbath can help include headaches, toothaches, pelvic pain and pelvic inflammatory disease, liver problems, cramps, prostate problems, hemorrhoids, joint and rheumatic aches and pains, excessive perspiration, chest congestion and cold and flu symptoms like cough, nausea and chills. Soaking and cleansing your feet in hot water also reduces inflammation and stimulates circulation in the feet and lower legs. Try out this amazing feature in the comfort of your own home with one of our tubs to help rejuvenate tired leg muscles and aching feet.

Additionally, this works great with the Vibro sonic massage system feature. Enjoy the soothing effects of your back massage while the hydro jets massage your feet.

Our acrylic bath & shower walls offer one of the most customizable and versatile options for wall surrounds. Available in a range of colors and styles with endless possibilities and combinations that can be cut to fit any space.

The Technology

Acrylic is a transparent, strong polymer that makes an excellent replacement for glass or tile because it is lighter, stronger, and more versatile in post-processing applications. To make the kitchen and bath walls, the acrylic is extruded through a series of rollers that can texture and gauge until it forms into a sheet.

This layer can be combined with a colored core as well as printed or laminated layer to create different marbled looks. The top layer of acrylic can be machined to expose and innner core and create a realistic grout lines, which is available in different colors.

"A New Chapter in Walk in Tubs Canada: How One Family Discovered the Best Walk-In Tubs in Canada"

When Margaret slipped in her bathtub last winter, it was a wake-up call for the entire family.

At 79, she was still sharp and independent, but her daughter Rachel knew it was time to make some changes—starting with a safer bathing solution. Like many families across Ontario, they began searching online for walk in bathtubs for seniors, hoping to find something that could restore both comfort and confidence.

What they found was a world of options—some promising, some confusing.

They looked into walk in tub prices and discovered there were big differences depending on features like air jets, shower combos, and hydrotherapy. The brands overwhelmed them: SafeStep tubs, Ellas Bubbles walk in tubs, Safety Bath, Safe bathing Canada, Carefree Bathing and The Walk In Tub Company all claimed to offer the best walk in tubs on the market.

Rachel needed more than just ads—she needed trusted guidance. That’s when she found Walk in Tubs Canada, a local supplier serving Toronto and the GTA. The website was clear, transparent, and full of information about walk in tubs in the GTA, including comparisons of walk in tubs with jets versus walk in tubs with showers, and even hybrid walk in tubs designed for both.

The salesperson was friendly, and they made an appointment. From the moment they met her, Margaret lit up. Models like accessible bathtubs, institutional bathtubs, and stylish walk in tubs Ontario families were already raving about were all products Walk in Tubs Canada had dealt with.

What won them over? It wasn’t just the craftsmanship—it was the approach. "This is the most accessible walk in tub Canada," the consultant smiled, showing them one of our new models that had a low step-in threshold, grab bars, therapeutic jets, and a sleek handheld shower. It was a walk in tub that respected both dignity and design.

By the end of the week, Margaret had her new tub installed—a hybrid model with both jets and shower capabilities. Now, every bath is a therapy session. She’s safe, she’s happy, and she calls it “my personal spa.”

Rachel often tells friends: “If you’re looking for Toronto walk in tubs, skip the gimmicks. Go with someone who knows what we really needed”

Benefits of Our Walk-In Bathtubs

1. Safety First: Bathtubs for Seniors

Safety is our top priority at Walk-In Tubs Ottawa. Our walk-in bathtubs are designed to reduce the risk of falls, which is particularly important for seniors and people with limited mobility. One of the key features of our tubs is the low-entry threshold, which allows for easy access without the need to step over high tub walls. This greatly reduces the risk of slipping or tripping while entering or exiting the bathtub.

Our non-slip flooring and built-in grab bars provide additional support and stability, making it easier for users to maintain balance during their bath. The tubs also feature leak-proof doors with secure locking systems, ensuring no water escapes during use. These features work together to create a safe, comfortable bathing experience, offering peace of mind for both users and their caregivers.

2. Therapeutic Hydrotherapy and Air Jets

At Walk-In Tubs Canada, we go beyond safety by offering therapeutic benefits. Many of our models come equipped with hydrotherapy and air jets, which can help alleviate muscle pain, joint stiffness, and arthritis symptoms. Hydrotherapy involves massaging water jets that provide a deep, soothing massage, helping to improve circulation and promote relaxation.

For a gentler experience, our air jets release streams of air bubbles that create a calming, full-body massage. This is ideal for those who prefer a less intense sensation but still want the health benefits of hydrotherapy. Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain or simply looking for a way to unwind after a long day, our tubs with therapeutic jets are the perfect solution.

3. Independence and Dignity: Bathtubs for Limited Mobility

One of the greatest benefits of installing a walk-in bathtub is the ability to maintain independence. Many of our customers are seniors or individuals with limited mobility who want to continue living independently without relying on others for help with daily tasks like bathing. Our walk-in tubs for seniors allow users to bathe comfortably and safely on their own, preserving their dignity and confidence.

Our tubs are designed with built-in seating to allow for a comfortable, seated bathing experience. The seats are ergonomically designed and placed at the right height, making it easy to sit down and stand up without strain. With easy-to-reach controls and a handheld showerhead, users can fully customize their bathing experience to suit their needs.

4. Customizable Walk-In Bathtubs

At Walk-In Tubs Canada, we understand that every individual has unique needs, which is why we offer a variety of models and customization options. Whether you need a walk-in tub for small bathrooms or a large tub for wheelchair access, we have the perfect solution. We can tailor the features of your tub to meet your specific needs, from temperature controls to fast-drain systems that allow you to exit the tub quickly after your bath.

Our wide selection of walk-in bathtubs with heated seating ensures that you stay warm and comfortable throughout your bath. If you prefer a tub with more advanced features, we also offer models with hydrotherapy jets, air massage systems, and chromotherapy (color therapy) lighting to enhance relaxation.

How to Choose the Right Walk-In Bathtub

1. Assess Your Needs

Before choosing a walk-in bathtub, it's important to assess your personal needs. Are you looking for a basic tub for safety and accessibility, or do you want a tub with additional therapeutic features like hydrotherapy jets or heated seats? If you have limited space in your bathroom, we can recommend compact walk-in tubs that still offer all the essential features.

2. Consider Installation Requirements

Make sure to measure your bathroom space before selecting a tub. Our team at Walk-In Tubs Canada offers free in-home consultations to help you choose the best tub that fits your space and your budget.

3. Choose Safety and Comfort Features

Decide which safety features are most important to you. For instance, if you have mobility issues, you may want to choose a tub with an outward-swinging door for easier access. If comfort is a priority, consider options like therapeutic jets and fast-drain systems.
